Once again I am starting the weekend with a win SU and ATS as I had a best bet on the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night and they put another notch on their belt now a perfect 8-0 this season. I did find a few games I like this week so here are the rest of my picks for week 8 in the NFL.
BEST BETS
My NEXT BEST BET this week is on the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at home giving the Washington Redskins 14 points. I will continue to make the Pats a best bet until the give me a reason not to and playing the Skins this week and only laying 2 tds is worth a best bet, especially with the Pats being at home. I have no problem AT ALL laying the points here and making the Patroits my next BEST BET of the week.
My NEXT BEST BET is on the ATLANTA FALCONS on the road giving the San Francisco 49ers 7 points. The 49ers are in total disarray as they are benching Kaepernick and starting Blaine Gabbert who is 5-22 as a starter for Jacksonville, so to me this really makes no sense but from a betting standpoint you gotta love it. The 49ers defense ranks 28th in total defense, they shipped Vernon Davis off to Denver and are starting Gabbert, WOW if Atlanta can't win this game by 2 or more tds than they deserve to lose. I like the Falcons to win this game going away and I will make them my next BEST BET for this week.
My LAST BEST BET this week is on the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS on the road giving 7 1/2 points to the Tennessee Titans. What can you say about Brees throwing for 7 touchdowns and 500 yards last week and now taking on the Titans who have won only 1 game and that was on the road they are 0-4 at home and after this game will be 0-5 at home. Brees may not throw for 7 touchdowns this week but he will more than enough td passes to win this game easily. I will lay the points and make the Saints my last BEST BET of the week.
REGULAR PLAYS
As for regular plays I like Denver on the road giving Indianapolis 5 points. I also like New York Giants on the road giving Tampa Bay 21/2 points. And finally I like the OVER 49 in the Giants/Bucs game, the OVER 43 in the Eagles/Cowboys game and the OVER 45 in the Broncos/Colts game.

My FIRST BEST BET this week is on the CINCINNATI BENGALS at home giving the Cleveland Browns 11 points on Thursday night. The Bengals are now 7-0 SU and 6-0-1 ATS. The Brownies have lost their last 3 and are now 2-6 SU and 4-4 ATS. The Bengals are coming home after getting a huge albatross off their back by finally beating the Steelers last week. Cleveland lost to Arizona after leading at halftime. I know this is a lot of points to spot in an intrastate rivalry but the Bengals are clearly the better team here and should win this game going away. I will lay the points here and watch the Bengals go to 8-0 SU and 7-0-1 ATS against the Brownies making the Bengals my first BEST BET of the week.

Could not catch a break with my best bets on Sunday and Monday as Carolina held a 23-7 lead in the 4th quarter and needed overtime to win. Chicago lost in the last seconds on a FB by Minny and Seattle won but could not cover against a depleted Cowboys team. Thank God for the Patriots who saved me a sweep. However, my regular plays kicked butt going 4-0-1 ATS and 5-0 SU. I guess I should have put my regular plays as best bets. LOL So enough about last week below are my weekly and Season stats, which you can go back and check on this website.

Well I am starting this post 1-0 SU and ATS as I had a best bet on the New England Patriots Thursday night and they delivered for me in spades, beating the Dolphins 36-7. There are a few games I do like this week so here are the rest of my picks for week 8 in the NFL.
BEST BETS
My NEXT BEST BET this week is on the CAROLINA PANTHERS at home giving the Indianapolis Colts 7 points on Monday night, I bet the NFL is high fiving each other putting this game on Monday night. The Colts can't win at home and they certainly are not going to win on the road against the red hot undefeated Carolina Panthers. Mr. Luck seems to be running out of luck this year while Mr. Newton can't seem to do anything wrong. And here is a stat the Panthers have now won 10 straight regular seasons games and have covered 9 of them, not even the Pats or Packers can say that. I have no problem AT ALL laying the touchdown here and making the Panthers my next BEST BET of the week.
My NEXT BEST BET is on the CHICAGO BEARS at home getting 2 1/2 points from the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings won their first road game last week beating Detroit and now they are on the road again to face a rested Bears team coming off a bye. Minny is 1-6 ATS the last 7 games in Chicago and 3-8 ATS the last 11 games between these two. I feel that the Bears just have the Vikes number and will show it again this weekend despite having Cutler quarterback for them. LOL I do like getting points with the Bears at home so I will make them my next BEST BET for this week.
My LAST BEST BET this week is on the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS on the road giving 4 1/2 points to the Dallas Cowboys. The Boys are not having fun without Romo but Dez is coming back from a broken bone in his foot it's just too bad Cassel won't be able to get him the ball because he will be running from the Seattle pass rush. Of course then there's the problem of stopping the Hawks offense which started to look like an offense last week scoring 20 on SF. Dallas has lost its last 4 and I don't see that changing much this week. I just can't see Dallas in this game so I will lay the points and make the Seahawks my last BEST BET of the week.
REGULAR PLAYS
As for regular plays I like Baltimore at home giving San Diego 3 points. I also like St. Louis at home giving San Francisco 7 1/2 points. And finally I like the OVER 43 in the Jets/Raiders game, the OVER 44 in the Lions/Chiefs game (Sunday morning in London) and the OVER 50 in the Chargers/Ravens game.

My FIRST BEST BET this week AGAIN is on the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at home giving the Miami Dolphins 7 1/2 points on Thursday night. The Pats have won the last 5 meetings at home against the Phins and the last 3 ATS. Another streak that I think is worth mentioning is that Brady is a perfect 8-0 on Thursday night. The Phish under new HC Campbell have won their last 2 games against the Titans and Texans, big deal, but these are the Patriots and their 2 game win streak will come to a end with an old fashion whoopin. I once again have no problem AT ALL laying the points here and making the Pats my first BEST BET of the week. I am not putting it out as a play but I am leaning toward the over 50 in this game as well as the past 2 games have gone over the number.
