Well not as good a week as I would have liked as a lot of my picks won but did not cover. Alabama was covering late but gave up the cover last in the 4th qtr. The over/under on the ASU game went down to 58 by game time, but when I posted it, it was 60 so that's a push. But like I always say that's why the call it gambling. Below are my college week 3 and season stats. I will update my stats every week during the football season for both college and pros.

Week 3 in college football and I am happy to report that I am in the black with my best bets and regular plays and I hope to keep the streak going. A lot of the games this week have hard spreads to pick either way for me but I did manage to find some games that I did like so with that being said below are my picks for week 3 in college football. BTW I get my spreads on the games from Covers.
BEST BETS
My FIRST BEST BET is on ARIZONA STATE on the road spotting UTSA(Texas San Antonio) 19 points on Friday night. I read the stats on UTSA's game last week against Colorado State and they rushed for a minus 1 yard that's right the whole game and they rushed for a minus 1 yard. They also had a fumble, interception and 9 penalties, and now they have to face ASU who rushed for 301 yards last week against Texas Tech. There is no mystery in the winner of this game, ASU can name the score and with less than a 3 td spread I see this a winner. So I am making Arizona State minus the points a BEST BET.
My NEXT BEST BET is on WISCONSIN at home giving 34 points to Georgia State. This is another one of those mismatchs where the Badgers can name the score. The Georgia State Panthers in case you didn't know their team name played and lost to Air Force last week 48-14 and they rushed for 27 yards a tad better than UTSA. But the most interesting stat is that Air Force had the ball 45 minutes and wait for it... Wisconsin is ranked 2nd in time of possession with 38 minutes. It's kind of hard to score when you don't have the ball much. So laying a point less than 5 tds does not scare me. I am making Wisconsin minus the points a BEST BET.
My LAST BEST BET is on TOLEDO at home giving 20 1/2 points to Fresno State. The Rockets are on a roll right now, I know they were not exactly powerhouse teams they beat but still impressive. Toledo also gets back a DT and 2 LBs this week after a 2 game suspension which should shore up their defense. Fresno State lost 3 running backs a few weeks ago and a 4th one is questionable with a hamstring and they are traveling cross country to boot. With Toledo home and Fresno having 3 fumbles and an INT last week against Sacrmento State I like the Rockets here to cover this line. I am making Toledo minus the points my last BEST BET.
REGULAR PLAYS
As for regular plays I like San Diego State on the road giving Northern Illinois 10 1/2 points. I like Washington State at home giving 24 1/2 points to Idaho. I like the Arizona State/UTSA game to go over 60. I like the Georgia State/Wisconsin game to go over 49. I like the Hawaii/Arizona game to go over 63. And finally I like Alabama on the road to get their revenge giving 10 points to Mississippi.

So in week 2 I did manage to have an overall great weekend going 6-3 with my picks, 2-1 with best bets and 4-2 with regular plays. Got close to the spread on the UCLA and Baylor game but neither team needed to score on their last drive and they don't care about the spread, at least I hope they don't LOL. Week 2 in college football and I hope to improve on my best bets and keep my regular plays in the black. I like some games and a few over/unders as well. I got to watch about 10 games last week and read the box scores on the ones that were not on TV, but with only one week of games, I will stay conservative on the number of picks I make, as a lot of these games are total mismatchs and the pointspreads prove that. So below are my picks for week 2 in college.
BEST BETS
My FIRST BEST BET is on MIAMI,FL at home spotting Florida Atlantic(FAU) 23 points. This is one of those games that the line to me is based on last year's Hurricanes win over FAU 44-20. However, that game was played at FAU this one is on the Canes turf so I think the line is very very doable for the Canes. FAU had a hard time beating FCS So. Illinois last week while Miami beat up on FCS Florida A&M winning 70-3. While I don't think they will win by 67 points I do believe that they will not have a problem winning by 23. So I am making Miami, Fl minus the points a BEST BET.
My NEXT BEST BET is on WASHINGTON at home giving 37 points to Idaho. This is one of those games that I believe Washington can name the score. Idaho barely got by Montana St. last week 20-17 and didn't score a point in the second half. If Huskies' qb Browning starts as fast as he did last week throwing 3 tds in the 1st quarter this game will be in the books and out of reach before they start the 4th quarter. Like I said Washington can name the score. I am making Washington minus the points a BEST BET.
My LAST BEST BET is on UCLA at home giving 26 points to UNLV. I can only imagine how upset UCLA was last week after losing in OT to Texas A&M. UNLV beat up on Jackson State, and now travel to UCLA to take on a team they lost to last year 37-3 on their home turf. This year they not only face a team they lost to last year at home but a team in a very nasty mood after losing last week, not a good combination in my books. I am making UCLA minus the points my last BEST BET.
REGULAR PLAYS
As for regular plays I like North Carolina State on the road giving East Carolina 5 1/2 points. I like Baylor at home giving 32 points to SMU. I like the UCF/Michigan game to go over 53. I like the UNLV/UCLA game to go over 58. I like the Arkansas/TCU game to go over 57 1/2. And finally I like USC at home giving 16 points to Utah State.
