Well I am not super happy about this weekend with my best bets as I am with my regular plays, but not too bad for the first week of the college season. So many upsets Houston blows out Oklahoma, Notre Dame goes down to Texas, USC gets blasted by Alabama and the list goes on. If it wasn't for the fact I really thought Penn State would blowout Kent State I could have been in the black with my best bets as well, but that's gambling. So below are my stats for the 2016 College Football Season Week 1, I will update my stats every week during the football season for both college and pros.

Well so far not a bad start to the first week of college football. I am posting this before the games finished on Friday night but I do know that I am 1-1 with my regular plays and Colorado should cover as for my best bet of over in the Arkansas State/Toledo game I am not sure. I must commend the NCAA for putting out some awesome matchups for week 1. ND/Texas, USC/Bama, Clemson/Auburn, Mississippi/FSU and many others. I will have a pick on a few of the marquee plays. For some reason I feel better about staying with home teams the first week. So without further adieu here are the rest of my picks for Week 1 in college football.
BEST BETS
My FIRST BEST BET is on ALABAMA at Cowboys Stadium spotting USC 11 points on Saturday night. I know this is a lot of points and that Alabama is starting a new qb replacing Coker but USC is also replacing Kessler. A plus for Bama is that Lane Kiffin their offensive coordinator got fired by USC on the team plane coming back from a road trip to ASU in 2013 so I think he might have a score to settle. And also playing into Bama's hands is that USC lost their entire starting defensive line from last year and these newbies will be going against one of the best offensive lines in the country. Nuf info for me to back the Tide. My BFF B-Jay always says ROLL TIDE ROLL and I think they will. I am making Alabama minus the points a BEST BET.
My NEXT BEST BET is on TULSA at home giving 5 points on Saturday night to San Jose State. This is one of those games that I look at how good Tulsa was offensively last year but horrible on defense so I looked at the O/U but it was 69 1/2 so I passed on that. SJSU is a dismal 1-9 ATS the last 2 years as an away dog and they also lost their star running back Tyler Ervin. I chalk this best bet up to a good offensive team in their home opener versus a poor away team laying less than a touchdown. I am making Tulsa minus the points a BEST BET.
My LAST BEST BET is on PENN STATE at home giving 21 points on Saturday afternoon to Kent State. Well I must admit hearing that Penn State is going to a fast tempo offense made my heart skip a beat. So I said to myself Kent State is just awful having lost 13 straight to the Big10 and 2-8 ATS the last 10, I like these odds. Penn State has finally got the whole Sandusky thing in back of them and can recruit and that should help their team. So I going to lay the points here and get ready to watch Penn State dare I say play a fast tempo offense. I am making Penn State minus the points my last BEST BET.
REGULAR PLAYS
As for regular plays I like Washington at home giving Rutgers 26 points. I like ULLAF at home getting 19 points from Boise State (yup I am taking the points over my Broncos). I like Iowa at home giving 27 1/2 points to Miami,Ohio and I also like the OVER 51 in this game. And finally I like Texas at home getting 3 1/2 points from Notre Dame.

WELCOME BACK MY BROTHAHS FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE
There are not a lot of games I like this week especially on Thursday and Friday. However, I did find few I would throw a few bucks on. So here we go the football season is starting and I for one couldn't be happier. It's been a long off season. And for those who don't remember my best bets are the ones to put more on then the regular plays. So below are my picks for the Thursday and Friday college games.
BEST BETS
My ONLY BEST BET for this Thursday and Friday is on the OVER 64 1/2 in the TOLEDO ROCKETS/ARKANSAS STATE RED WOLVES with the Red Wolves at home. Both teams can score and both teams have mediocre at best defenses. To top it off Toledo just suspended for a few games a defensive lineman and 2 linebackers making it even easier for Ark. St. to score. I very think this O/U is doable and I am making it a BEST BET.
REGULAR PLAYS
As for regular plays I like Oregon State on the road getting 13 points from Minnesota. I also like Tennessee at home giving Appalachian State 20 points. Finally I like Colorado at home giving Colorado State 7 1/2 points.

I sure hope you read my writeup on the Championship game between Clemson and Alabama cause if you did you won both ends as I had Clemson with the points and the OVER. It was good year for best bets as both the regular season and bowl game picks were in the black and that to me is saying something because it was a very tough year against the spreads. So I want to once again thank everyone who came to this website and of course a BIG THANK YOU to Brian for allowing me to be on his website. So it is with great sadness that I post my final stats for this 2015-16 college football season

Well here we are the final game of the college football season and what an ending it will be. For me I will remain in the black with my best bets for the college bowl season and that makes me very happy. So it's Clemson against Alabama and I have a writeup below with my thoughts and opinion on the last game of the college football season. 
COLLEGE BOWL STATS
BEST BETS 11-7 ATS 12-6 SU
Regular Plays 9-8-1 ATS 8-10 SU
What can I say Clemson hasn't gotten respect all season and this game is no exception as they are 7 point underdogs to Alabama. I know Alabama only lost 1 game and that was to Mississippi at home way back in September, so I can understand how oddsmakers don't let that come into play and the Tide did shutout Michigan State, but how do they not take into account that Clemson beat the piss out of Oklahoma to get here?? I am not saying Alabama won't win this game but I am saying the will not cover the spread. I am taking CLEMSON with the 7 points to keep this game close and a respectable ending to a great Clemson season. I am making this a regular play.
As far as the 50 1/2 over/under goes I think they will go OVER this number and I am making this a regular play has well.
