I have a regular play on BYU on the road getting 7 1/2 points from Boise State on Thursday night.

I have a regular play on California at home giving 2 1/2 points to Oregon on Friday night.

I will be back Friday night with the rest of my picks for this weekend in college football.

And as always  - Remember to bet with your head and not over it.

Well it seems like I can't stand prosperity as both my best bets and regular plays were in the red this week. Clemson was flat, Hawaii lost at home to an awful team and BYU should be happy with the win or for bettors the push. I don't know what else to say but that's why they call it gambling. Below are the updated stats for college week 7 and season stats. I will update my stats every week during the football season for both college and pros.

WEEK 7 STATS

BEST BETS    1-2-1 ATS and 3-1 SU

REGULAR PLAYS 2-5 ATS and 4-3 SU

2016 SEASON STATS

BEST BETS          11-10-1 ATS and 17-5 SU

REGULAR PLAYS  23-17-1 ATS and 31-9-1 SU

Looking ahead to the college games for Thursday and Friday, I will most likely be back here Wednesday night with a couple of college picks.

And as always  - Remember to bet with your head and not over it.

Once again I want to thank Moose the Greek for giving us some winners last week. I can only hope I can keep up our winning streak as both my best bets and regular plays are in the black. I have a few Friday night college games that I do like so I am putting out all my plays tonight. So here are my picks for week 7 in college football.

BEST BETS

My FIRST BEST BET is on CLEMSON at home spotting North Carolina State 17 points. I don't know about you but I did watch the Clemson/Louisville game and no matter how much Clemson was down they never gave up and won the game by 6. This is Clemson's homecoming and I do love to bet homecoming teams especially teams coming home after a 56-10 beat down of BC. NC State played a game I would have postponed against ND as hurricane Matthew was pouring on the game. The Tigers have won and covered the last 2 games against the Wolfpack outscoring them 97 to 41. I love this game and I will take the Tigers minus the points as my first BEST BET.

My NEXT BEST BET is on HAWAII at home giving  9 points to UNLV.  Hawaii is one of those teams that I only bet at home but last week I did bet them against SJSU and they won on the up. They are on a 2 game winning streak which is impressive for the Warriors (wish they kept the Rainbows I liked that better). This matchup since 2009 has gone to the home team and who am I to argue with a streak like that. So I will lay the points and take the Rainbows I mean Warriors as a BEST BET.

My NEXT BEST BET is on BYU at home giving 7 points to Mississippi State on Friday night. BYU impressed me last week on the road beating Michigan State, while MSU was at home getting beat by Auburn. Now the Bulldogs must travel to Provo, Utah where the altitude and the cooler weather could have an affect on their game. I like the Cougars at home so I will lay the points and make them BEST BET.

My LAST BEST BET is on NEBRASKA on the road giving 3 points to Indiana. I know the Hoosiers have a much better team this year as they covered against Ohio State, but getting only 3 points from the undefeated Cornhuskers makes me scratch my head. I will take the undefeated Cornhuskers in this spot as this is Indiana's 6th straight game in a row while Nebraska is coming off a bye. I look for Nebraska to cover the 3 points making this my last BEST BET.

REGULAR PLAYS

As for regular plays I like the Georgia Southern/Georgia Tech game to go over 47. I like Virginia Tech on the road giving 19 1/2 points to Syracuse. I like Air Force at a neutral site giving 14 points to New Mexico. I like Western Michigan on the road giving 11 points to AkronI like San Diego State on the road giving 17 points to Fresno State on Friday. I like the Georgia State/Troy game to go over 54. And finally I like Toledo at home giving 31 points to Bowling Green.

Well that's it for this week in college football, I will be back next week with more college picks. I will be back Saturday night with my NFL picks.

And as always  - Remember to bet with your head and not over it.

First of all I want to thank Moose the Greek for filling in for me as he went 2-0 ATS with his picks, 1 best bet and 1 regular play, hitting the Tennessee and BYU games. Thanks again, Moosie. Below are the updated stats for college week 6 and season stats. I will update my stats every week during the football season for both college and pros.

WEEK 6 STATS

BEST BETS    1-0 ATS and 0-1 SU

REGULAR PLAYS 1-0 ATS and 1-0 SU

2016 SEASON STATS

BEST BETS          10-8 ATS and 14-4 SU

REGULAR PLAYS  21-12-1 ATS and 27-6-1 SU

I will be back either Thursday or Friday with my college picks as I do not have an opinion on the App State/ULLAF game and the Navy/ECU game has been postponed until November 19th.

And as always  - Remember to bet with your head and not over it.

MOOSE The Greek here filling in for Liz this week while she is out in Las Vegas.  I have two College picks for you this week.  So without further fanfare, here they are.

I really like TENNESSEE  as a road underdog this week.  They are getting 7.5 from Texas A&M.  The Aggies are home and playing good this year but I think Tennessee is playing better and with an eye toward Bowl Season they can’t afford to lose.  So my first pick is TENNESSEE +7.5.   I do think the Vols can win this one on the up but the points are nice.

My second pick is  BYU, also a road dog getting 4.5 from Michigan State.  The Cougars and the Spartans have both been somewhat of a disappointment this year.  But I think BYU matches up very well against the Spartans and I think it will be a very close game.  So I am picking BYU +4.5.

Good luck with your FBS picks and I hope you check out my NFL picks also.  MOOSE The Greek has spoken.
