I have a few plays this week these are my plays for Tuesday November 1st.

 

I have a regular play on the Western Michigan/Ball State game to go Over 63 on Tuesday night.

 

I have a regular play on Western Michigan on the road giving 17 points to Ball State on Tuesday night. 

 

 

I will be back again this week with more picks on this week's college games and probably the NFL game on Thursday night.

Well I can't say much about my best bets except that I am consistent in doing better with my regular plays than my best bets. All I can do is hope that this week my best bets are better. LOL So enough said about last week below are the updated stats for college week 8 and season stats. I will update my stats every week during the football season for both college and pros. 

 

WEEK 9 STATS

BEST BETS    1-3 ATS and 2-2 SU

REGULAR PLAYS 6-3 ATS and 7-2 SU 

 

2016 SEASON STATS

BEST BETS          13-16-1 ATS and 23-7 SU

REGULAR PLAYS  33-25-1 ATS and 43-15-1 SU 

 

So at this point in the season there are MAC games starting on Tuesday and college games every night this week. I will do my best to get out any best bets or regular plays I have on the games this week.

I have a regular play on the Virginia Tech/Pittsburgh game to go Over 57 on Thursday night.

 

I have a regular play on the Navy/South Florida game to go Over 63 on Friday night.

 

I have a regular play on San Diego State on the road giving 6 points to Utah State on Friday night. 

 

I have a Best Bet on the Air Force/Fresno State game to go Over 53 on Friday night.

Another week of wondering what I have to do to stay in the black as my best bets all won but only 1 covered. None of the top teams with the exception of Alabama covered the spread and Ohio State lost outright, go figure. Looking ahead to the college games there are 5 games on Thursday and 3 more on Friday, so I will be back here Wednesday night or early Thursday morning with a couple of college picks.

So I go into Saturday with 2 regular play wins already with BYU and California. I have had enough time now to know who are the hot teams and who aren't and my best bets this week will reflect that.  So here are my picks for the rest of week 8 in college football.

 

 

BEST BETS

My FIRST BEST BET is on ALABAMA at home spotting Texas A&M 17 points. Bama is crushing the spreads this year and most of them have been 17 points or higher. In 2014 the last time A&M played Bama in Tuscaloosa they lost 59-0 and maybe the score won't be that bad this time but I definitely see them covering this 17 point line. I love the Tide to roll in this game so I will lay the points and make them my first BEST BET.

 

My NEXT BEST BET is on MICHIGAN at home giving 39 points to Illinois.  I watched Illinois struggle with Rutgers last week beating them 24-7. Two weeks ago the Wolverines were pulling people out of the stands against Rutgers that they beat 78-0 that's right 78-0.  I don't think Illinois has much of a chance in this game as the last time in 2012 when they played in Ann Arbor they lost 45-0, and if they do it would surprise the hell out of me. Michgan wins this game easily and I will lay the big points and take Michigan as a my NEXT BEST BET.

 

My NEXT BEST BET is on WESTERN MICHIGAN at home giving 23 points to Eastern Michigan. Even though EMU is playing very well this year they are coming into Kalamazoo where the Broncos cannot take them lightly. WMU has won and covered the last 2 times these teams have met after EMU won the 3 games before. The Broncos had their first turnover last week against Akron and that's impressive in itself, but now the Eagles come in where a win for them would put them 1 game behind WMU so I look for the Broncos to take control of this game early and pull away late 3rd or early 4th quarter. I like the Broncos at home so I will lay the points and make them my NEXT BEST BET.

 

My LAST BEST BET is on NEBRASKA at home giving 24 points to Purdue. I had a hard time deciding to make this a best bet or just a regular play but with revenge as a motivator for the Cornhuskers and Purdue firing their head coach I decided I would take that chance knowing that Nebraska would not stop scoring and would not let the Boilermakers backdoor them.  I look for Nebraska to cover the 24 points making this my last BEST BET.

 

 

REGULAR PLAYS

As for regular plays I like the Illinois/Michigan game to go over 53 1/2. I like Connecticut at home getting 4 points from Central Florida.  I like Oklahoma State/Kansas to go over 61. I like Houston/SMU to go over 62 1/2. I like Minnesota at home giving 18 points to Rutgers.  I like the Old Dominion/Western Kentucky game to go over 65. And finally I like Washington at home giving 36 points to Oregon State.
