Such a sad time of the year when college football is over and there is only 7 games left in the NFL. I was sad to see Buffalo get knocked out by the officials, sorry I mean the Jaguars. A question that comes to mind is will Big Ben blow the Jags away or do the Jags have his number. I guess we will find out this week. I did not have a good start with my best bets last week but did with my regular plays I hope to turn that around this week. Below are my final regular season stats along with my current playoff stats.

2017 SEASON FINAL STATS

BEST BETS              32-25-3 ATS and 40-18-2 SU

REGULAR PLAYS  38-35-2 ATS and 44-30-1 SU

2018 PLAYOFF STATS

BEST BETS    1-2 ATS  and 1-2 SU

REGULAR PLAYS  2-1 ATS and 2-1 SU

BEST BETS

My FIRST BEST BET is on the MINNESOTA VIKINGS at home giving the New Orleans Saints 4 points. Minnesota just had 2 weeks off while the Saints played a very emotional game against the Panthers last week. I tend to side with the more rested team in the playoffs especially when I think they are the better team to begin with. I heard the Vikings brought up Sam Bradford off the IR for the playoffs just in case. He is of course the qb for the Vikes that beat the Saints early in the year 29-19. I like the Vikes at home and rested and I am making them MY FIRST BEST BET.

My NEXT BEST BET is on the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES at home getting 3 points from the Atlanta Falcons. The first thing I thought when I saw this line is WHAT?? the Eagles at home are getting points from the Falcons. I know how much Wentz meant to this team but making them an underdog at home WOW, I know that would infuriate me so I can only imagine how it has affected the Eagles. I know the Falcons have been playing very well lately but going into this contest as favorites blows my mind. I may be dead wrong on this one but I like the Eagles here as my NEXT BEST BET.

My LAST BEST BET is on the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS/MINNESOTA VIKINGS  game to go OVER 45. The last time these teams played they scored 48 points between them and now because it's a playoff game they lower the O/U by a field goal? I still think both these teams will score more than 45 points between them as I don't see either team changing their game plan and I think both will attack with the weapons they have. I don't think this game will go into the 60s but it will definitely go into the 50s. So I am making the OVER 45 my LAST BEST BET

REGULAR PLAYS

I like the Jacksonville Jaguars/Pittsburgh Steelers  game to go Under 41.

I like the New England Patrios at home giving 13 points to the Tennessee Titans.

And finally I like the Pittsburgh Steelers at home giving the Jacksonville Jaguars 7 points.

I will be back next week with my picks on the Conference games.

And as always  - Remember to bet with your head and not over it.
