I don't think if they made a movie about the Vikings/Saints game that anyone would think the ending was anything but pure fiction, but it happened. The Jags beat the Steelers, and everyone is still scratching their heads on how that happened in Pittsburgh. At least the other 2 games on Saturday were much more believeable LOL. So onto the Conference games and as I always say you just have to pick the winner because only two times in 20 years has the spread come into play in the AFC and only 3 times in 20 years in the NFC. So it comes down to who I think is going to win and if history is any indication of these games the spread will not come into play. After this weekend we will be down to only 1 game the Super Bowl. (sob) I had a great week with my best bets going 3-0 ATS and SU so that puts me in the black, which is a good thing. Below are my final regular season stats along with my current playoff stats.

2017 SEASON FINAL STATS

BEST BETS              32-25-3 ATS and 40-18-2 SU

REGULAR PLAYS  38-35-2 ATS and 44-30-1 SU

2018 PLAYOFF STATS

BEST BETS    4-2 ATS  and 4-2 SU

REGULAR PLAYS  3-3 ATS and 3-3 SU

BEST BETS

My FIRST BEST BET is on the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at home giving the Jacksonville Jaguars 7 points. Like I said you only have to pick the winner and I just don't see the Jags standing in the way of the Pats going to another Super Bowl. Belichick will have a plan and Brady will execute it, nuf said. The Jags had a great season but the buck stops here. Don't forget the Jags won but Pitt scored 42 points, which doesn't sound to me like a defense that will control the game. I like the Pats at home and I am making them MY FIRST BEST BET.

My LAST BEST BET is on the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES at home getting 3 points from the Minnesota Vikings. Well here we go again, the Eagles for the 2nd week in a row are underdogs at home. WOW now that is disrespectful on a whole new level and has to hurt like hell. Like I said you only have to pick the winner and I am going with the home team playing against a dome team on the road, outside. The stats back me up here, the Eagles are 4-0 ATS as home underdogs in the playoffs, they were 6-2 ATS at home this year, and the Vikings are 0-3 SU and ATS against Philly in the playoffs. I really like both teams but I am going with the home underdog here that still has that chip on their shoulder. Once again  I may be dead wrong on this one but I like the Eagles here as my LAST BEST BET.

REGULAR PLAYS

I like the Jacksonville Jaguars/New England Patriots game to go over 45.

I really can't get a handle on the O/U in the Minny/Philly game so I have no pick

I will be back in 2 weeks with my picks on the SUPER BOWL.

And as always  - Remember to bet with your head and not over it.
