Well it is finally nice to start the weekend off with a regular win on Thursday with the over in the Jax/Tenn game. Six teams are out this week so that leaves us fewer games to choose from so my pickins are slim. So with that being said here are my picks for this week in the NFL.

BEST BETS

My FIRST BEST BET is on NEW ENGLAND on the road spotting the Buffalo Bills 6 points. I know I jumped on the Bills bandwagon last week but this game is pure revenge for having beaten the Pats on their home turf. I know I would not ever want to be on the bad side of Belichick and the Bills did that. No stats are needed here, the Pats will win this game and win it by double digits. I will lay the points and make the Pats my FIRST BEST BET.

My NEXT BEST BET is on MINNESOTA on the road giving 4 points to the Chicago Bears on Monday night. I know this is Minnesota's 2nd straight road game but they got to be in a nasty mode after getting beat by the Eagles last week. Bradford looked horrible in the loss and what better team to get back on track bu the hapless Bears who have won 1 game this year. I also read that Cutler isn't exactly in the good graces of the Bears staff, which makes for locker room drama. I look for the Vikes to win this game by at least double digits as they get back in the win column.  I am making the Vikes my NEXT BEST BET.

My LAST BEST BET is on DALLAS at home giving 5 points to the Eagles. The Boys are doing real well under Zak Prescott right now and I don't see that changing much on Sunday against the Eagles. Call this a gut pick but I think the Cowboys are going to beat the Eagles soundly. So this pick is for my BFF B-Jay who is a diehard Dallas fan but would not back them this week. LOL So I will lay the points and take the Boys and make them my LAST BEST BET.

REGULAR PLAYS

As for regular plays I like Seattle/New Orleans game to go over 48.  I like the Oakland/Tampa Bay game to go over 49. I like Houston at home giving the Detroit Lions a point. I like the New England/Buffalo game to go over 47 And finally I like San Diego on the road getting 4 points from Denver.

Well that's it for this week in the NFL. I will be back next week with my college and pro picks.

And as always  - Remember to bet with your head and not over it.
