I sure don't want another week like last week so I did a lot of reading and studying this week. So God willing what happened last week will not happen again. No bandwagon jumping this week I will make my best picks. and base my plays on stats which is my forte. So here are my picks for this week in the NFL.
BEST BETS
My FIRST BEST BET is on NEW ENGLAND at home spotting the Buffalo Bills 6 1/2 points. So last week the Bills blew away the Cardinals, but can they go on the road and do the same the Patriots, that's a big fat NO they can't. New England hasn't played since last Thursday when they shutout the Texans and even though they have 2 qbs that are not 100% I just believe that Belichick will pull another rabbit out of his hat. I will lay the 6 1/2 points and make the Pats my FIRST BEST BET.
My NEXT BEST BET is on the INDIANAPOLIS/JACKSONVILLE going OVER 49. Last year the Jags put up 51 points on the Colts and that beats the totalwithout the Colts scoring. I don't think they will hang 51 on the Colts again but I do believe both of these teams will score at least 4 tds apiece and that puts the game over. So with the total under 50 I am backing the over here. I am making the OVER 49 a BEST BET.
My LAST BEST BET is on ARIZONA at home giving 7 1/2 points to the Rams. The Cardinals are 1-2 right now and are in desperate need of a victory and what better place to get it then home. The Rams are playing their 3 road game in 4 weeks and that has to take a toll on them, especially getting a very angry Arizona team that lost badly last week to the Bills. I see the Cards bouncing back here and taking their frustrations out on the Rams. So I am laying the points and making the Cardinals my last BEST BET.
REGULAR PLAYS
As for regular plays I like Detroit/Chicago game to go over 48. I like Denver on the road giving 3 points to Tampa Bay. I like the Minnesota Vikings at home giving the New York Giants 4 points. I like the Tennessee/Houston game to go over 40 1/2. And finally I like Pittsburgh at home giving 4 points to Kansas City.
