I won a best bet last night on Northern Illinois ATS and SU. So I am going to make a pick on a Thursday game.
I am making a regular play tonight on Virginia Tech on the road getting 3 1/2 points from Georgia Tech.
I may be back Friday with a pick or early Saturday morning with the rest of my college picks for this weekend.

I am making a BEST BET on NORTHERN ILLINOIS on the road spotting the Buffalo Bulls 6 1/2 points. Since 1999 out of the 7 games these 2 have played there has only been 1 game that the Huskies won by less than 6 1/2 points having won all 7, so I like my odds on this game. So this is my first BEST BET of the college weekend. I most likely will be back tomorrow with something on the Thursday and Friday night college games.

What started out to be a great college week turned into mediocre 3-3 for my best bets and my regular plays. I have to voice my opinion on the JUST PLAIN AWFUL call in the Michigan State/Nebraska game that gave the game to the Cornhuskers and those who bet Michigan State a reason to wonder if games are fixed. He was clearly out of bounds and was the first one to touch the ball and what do you mean that is no reviewable??? Either he was in bounds or he was out bounds what would be so hard for instant replay to see?? Oh well it is what is it. I am in the black going into Saturday this week as my best bets from Wednesday thru Friday are 2-1 ATS and SU and my regular plays have gone 2-0 ATS and SU and there are still games on Saturday that I like alot. So here are the rest of my picks for this week in college football.
BEST BETS
My NEXT BEST BET this week is on the WESTERN KENTUCKY HILLTOPPERS at home giving the Florida Atlantic Owls (FAU) 24 points. WKU is coming home after a 3 game road trip and not only is that good news but this is also a revenge game as FAU beat WKU last year 45-38 at FAU and to top it off it is homecoming, I think the handwriting is on the wall for this game. The Owls broke a 3 game losing streak last week beating FIU in an intrastate rivalry...my opinion BIG DEAL. Doughty the QB for WKU is a force to be reckoned with as he is currently holding a 30 to 5 TD to INT ratio and he is hot especially at home with a 36 to 1 TD to INT ratio since the start of last year. FAU will find it very difficult to keep up with the Hilltoppers and they should win this game going away probably by more that 4 TDs. So I have no problem laying the points and making WKU my next BEST BET.
My NEXT BEST BET will be on LOUISIANA TECH at home giving North Texas 29 points. North Texas finally won their first game of the season last week while LaTech is coming home after beating up Rice on the road. These 2 teams both have perfect records, North Texas is 0-4 on the road and LaTech is 4-0 at home. The math for me makes this pick a no brainer, North Texas averages 14 points on the road while the Bulldogs average 44 at home and that's a cover. I like LaTech at home by at least 5 tds so this is my next BEST BET.
My LAST BEST BET is on the MICHIGAN STATE SPARTANS on the road giving 5 1/2 points to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. What can I say about a Nebraska team that got the snot beat out of them at home against Purdue last week and are now on a 2 game losing streak. MSU can't be in a very good mood as the rankings have them at 7 with an undefeated record so somebody is going to have to pay for their foul mood and the Cornhuskers are ripe for the picking. I think this game is going to be at least lopsided if not a blowout. I will gladly lay the 6 points and make MSU my LAST BET.
REGULAR PLAYS
As for regular plays I like Ohio State at home spotting Minnesota 23 points. I like Oklahoma at home giving 24 1/2 to Iowa State. I also like the LSU on the road getting 7 points from Alabama. I like Oregon at home giving 3 points to California. I like the Florida Atlantic/Western Kentucky/game to go OVER 65. And finally I like the Oklahoma State/TCU game to go OVER 76.

So far so good I won a best bet last night on Bowling Green ATS and SU. So I am going to push my luck and picks a few of the college games for Thursday and Friday.
My NEXT BEST BET will be on ARKANSAS STATE/APPALACHIAN STATE game to go OVER 59 on Thursday night. Both these teams can score as they both average 35 points a game which puts this game way over the point total. Last time these 2 played the score was 37-32 and after checking the weather it looks like a beautiful night for football. I am making the OVER in this game my next BEST BET.
My NEXT BEST BET will be on BYU/SAN JOSE STATE game to go OVER 56 1/2 on Friday night. BYU's last 3 games had totals of 76, 62, 83, well above the 56 1/2 O/U posted and both teams scored which will also happen in this game. SJSU has not played an offense like BYU's and if Air Force could put up 37 on the Spartans I see no reason why BYU can't get that and more and the weather looks great for this game too. I am making the OVER in this game my next BEST BET.
As for regular plays I like Western Michigan at home giving Ball State 14 points on Thursday night and I like Temple on the road spotting SMU 12 1/2 points on Friday night.
