I must admit I am very pleased with my best bets and regular plays so far this year in college and my only hope is that this success will continue. I must also admit that I was happy and ticked at the same time last week as Alabama did beat A&M but with 15 seconds left they let A&M score and cut my win to a push. Oh well it is what it is. So below are my picks for this week in college football. I have a pick on Clemson tonight as a regular play. 

My first best bet this week is on the team that I was happy to see lose last week and that is TEXAS A&M at home spotting SMU 28 points. After losing to Alabama last week, I am sure A&M will be all amped up to make amends and using my stats, A&M has won and covered the last 3 games against SMU by a combined 160 to 25. I'm sure Johnny Football will have a field day against SMU's defense and A&M will win this game going away in the second half. Texas A&M is my first BEST BET.

My next best bet is on CINCINNATI on the road giving Miami, Ohio 22 points. Miami, Ohio ranks last in the nation averaging a paltry 180 yards per game, this will not get it done against the Bearcats that will most likely double or even triple that number. The stats also favor Cincy as they have won and covered 6 of the last 7 meetings between these 2 teams. To me there is very little chance the Redhawks will cover the spread as Cincinnati will pull away far enough in the 2nd half that even a backdoor cover will be impossible. I'm making Cincinnati a BEST BET.

My last best bet is on BALL STATE on the road giving Eastern Michigan 10 points. Ball State last week had a comfortable 27-16 lead at halftime against North Texas State but 5 turnovers in the 2nd half cost them the game, that won't happen this week against a team ranked 110th in offense and has been held under 14 points 8 times since last year and failed to cover 6 of 8 MAC games last year. Ball State will make amends after losing last week with a big win over this MAC rival. Ball State is my last BEST BET.

My regular plays this week are - Michigan on the road at Connecticut giving UConn 17 1/2 points. Maryland at home giving West Virginia 5 points. I do like Clemson tonight on the road giving NC State 13 1/2 points. And finally Wyoming on the road giving Air Force 3 1/2 points.

My underdogs this week are - I will stay with red hot Florida Atlantic (FAU) at home getting 3 1/2 points from Middle Tennessee. I also like San Diego State at home getting 8 1/2 points from Oregon State. Finally I like Arizona State on the road getting 5 1/2 points from Stanford. 

As for over/unders - I like Hawaii/Nevada over 55, North Carolina/Georgia Tech over 59, and finally Ball State/Eastern Michigan over 55.
