Picks in college for my best bets and regular plays are firmly planted in the black so far this year and with a little luck it will stay that way. My over/under picks are back at 500 and if I could just catch a break on my underdog plays that would make my day. Anyway now that we are finally in conference play, I'm hoping I can catch a few underdogs from teams that know each other well. Well enough about my stats here are my picks for week 10 in college football.

My first best bet this week is tonight(Thursday) on HOUSTON at home giving South Florida 17 1/2 points. Last week I made Houston an underdog play against Rutgers and not only did they beat Rutgers they demolished them. I believe that Rutgers has a much better team than South Florida on both sides of the ball and if Houston could beat Rutgers by 5 touchdowns on the road I see no reason why they can't do the same to South Florida at home, who by the way are starting a true freshman quarterback this week. This is a no brainer to me so I am making Houston a BEST BET.

My next best bet is on GEORGIA TECH at home giving Pittsburgh 10 points. Here's a interesting stat that I just read, teams that can outrush their opponents by a 2 to 1 margin have won ATS 76% of the time. With GT an option team and at home and Pitt losing last week to another option team in Navy, I can only see this game going one way and that is the Yellow Jackets keeping the ball for long periods of time not giving the Panthers a chance to catch up. I am making Georgia Tech a BEST BET.

My last best bet is on the LOUISIANA LAFAYETTE RAGIN CAJUNS at home giving New Mexico State 31 points. First of all, the Aggies are a horrible team winning their first game last week against Abiliene Christian who?? Next, this is homecoming for Louisiana and I for one love this fact as they will probably run it up for their home crowd as QB Broadway is having a great season. Finally, the Aggies are dead last in defense allowing a whopping 46 ppg and with the line at 31 this makes this spread very doable. Add all these things up and you've got Louisiana Lafyette as my last BEST BET

My regular plays this week are - East Carolina on the road giving Florida International(FIU) 23 1/2 points. UCLA at home giving Colorado 27 points. Finally I like Northern Illinois on the road giving UMass 23 1/2 points.

My underdogs this week are - Temple on the road getting 14 points from Rutgers. I also like Minnesota on the road getting 10 points from Indiana. Finally I like Oklahoma State on the road getting 2 1/2 points from Texas Tech.

As for over/unders this week - I like South Florida/Houston over 53 1/2, Arizona State/Washington State over 71, and last but not least Oklahoma State/Texas Tech over 66 1/2 .

Well that's it for my college picks for the week.

As always remember to bet with your head and not over it.
