First off I want to wish everyone a very HAPPY TURKEY DAY. I decided that I would put all my picks out for this week tonight(Wed) instead of piece meal which didn't work last night for me as not only didn't NIU cover they didn't even win, go figure. The lines I have are the current lines as of Wednesday night and could possibly change. I have plays I like for Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week and will put the day of the game in the writeups, so here are my picks for this week in college football.
BEST BETS
My FIRST BEST BET this week is on the red hot SAN DIEGO STATE AZTECS at home giving the Nevada Wolf Pack 17 points on Saturday night. This is my favorite game the better team playing with revenge and home. The past 2 times SDSU has come home from an away game they crushed Utah State by 34 points and Wyoming by 35 points, impressive. Nevada is on their 2nd straight road game and lost last week to Utah State. I see this as whatever SDSU wants to win by will be the final score. I am making the SDSU Aztecs my first BEST BET.
My NEXT BEST BET this week is on the SOUTH FLORIDA BULLS(USF) on the road giving the Central Florida Knights(UCF) 22 points on Thanksgiving night. This game was off the board most of this week and I can see why as UCF shutout USF last year at USF and this is a revenge match for sure. An intrastate rivalry with USF red hot and UCF not having won a game this year. I look for USF to stick a fork in the Knights way before this game is over. This has rout written all over it. I am making South Florida my next BEST BET.
My NEXT BEST BET will be on the MEMPHIS TIGERS at home giving the SMU Mustangs 21 points on Saturday. Memphis is coming home after 2 demoralizing losses and I am sure they want to take their frustrations out on someone and what better patsy then the Mustangs who haven't won a road game all year. SMU gave up 55 to Navy and 60 to Temple in my opinion with Paxton Lynch throwing for Memphis the sky is the limit. This game also has blowout written all over it. I will spot the 21 points and make Memphis my next BEST BET.
My NEXT BEST BET will be on the ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE on the road giving the Auburn Tigers 14 points on Saturday. Alabama comes into this game ranked #2 in the nation and hasn't lost a game since mid September. I am sure Bama would love to squash the Tigers and maybe get the #1 ranking going into college playoffs and I don't see Auburn standing in their way. Auburn is 3-8 ATS with 2 of those covers coming on the road. Alabama is 6-5 ATS and are a perfect 3-0 ATS on the road. The Tide will shutdown Auburn and will get stronger as the game wears on and will get the cover with no chance of being backdoored. I will spot the 14 points and make Alabama my next BEST BET.
My LAST BEST BET is on the OREGON DUCKS at home giving 35 points to Oregon State on Friday. I don't normally like to make a 35 point favorite a best bet but I have seen Oregon State and Oregon play and if Oregon doesn't win this game by at least 7 tds I will be amazed. The Ducks are currently ranked 17th and I am sure with a beat down of the Beavers and a few teams above them losing they will move up in the standings. Oregon is currently on a 5-0 ATS run and you know I love streaks and this is one streak I am willing to make a best bet. I will lay the big wood and make Oregon my LAST BET.
REGULAR PLAYS
As for regular plays I like Appalachian State at home spotting ULLAF(Louisiana) 23 points on Saturday. I like Kansas State on the road giving 20 points to Kansas on Saturday. I also like Syracuse at home getting 3 points from Boston College on Saturday. I like North Carolina on the road giving 5 1/2 points to North Carolina State on Saturday. I like Georgia Southern at home giving South Alabama 21 points on Saturday. As for over/unders picks I like the Kansas State /Kansas game to go OVER 54 1/2 on Saturday and finally I like the Oregon State/Oregon game to go OVER 68 on Friday.
