I am in the black going into Saturday this week as my best bet on Northern Illinois won on Wednesday and my regular play on Virginia Tech won on Thursday. I do really like a few games this weekend let's just hope they don't get the refs that did the Michigan State/Nebraska game last week. LOL So here are the rest of my picks for this week in college football.

BEST BETS

My NEXT BEST BET this week is on the OKLAHOMA STATE COWBOYS on the road giving the Iowa State Cyclones 13 1/2 points. Okie State has to be totally ticked off being rank 8th behind a few teams in my opinion they could beat easily, so they not only have to win out but win by a big enough margin to catch the attention of the CFP polling people. Iowa State by no means is a bad team but to get the Cowboys in a bad mood is not going to be good for them. I have absolutely no qualms about laying the points in this game as OSU has beaten ISU by 17 31 and 21 the last 3 meetings and they covered all 3. I am making Oklahoma State my next BEST BET.

My NEXT BEST BET will be on CALIFORNIA GOLDEN BEARS at home giving the Oregon State Beavers 21 points. California should fire whoever setup their schedule as the last 4 games they played were Utah, UCLA and Oregon and the road and USC at home. I know Cal started the season off with 5 straight wins and then these last 4 OMG it's not hard to believe they dropped all 4. Now the good news they are coming home to face a teams that hasn't won a game on the road this season and who they can kick the snot out of, so I see a much needed blowout for the Bears. I like Cal at home to win this game easily so this is my next BEST BET.

My LAST BEST BET is on the ARKANSAS STATE RED WOLVES on the road giving 14 1/2 points to the Louisiana Monroe Warhawks(ULM). Ark State has ULM's number having won and covered the last 5 meetings. ULM is also a dismal 1-8 this year not having won a game since September 12th against FCS Nicholls State. You know I love streaks and this one is worth making a best bet  I will lay the points and make Arkansas State my LAST BET.

REGULAR PLAYS

As for regular plays I like North Carolina at home spotting Miami,Fl 12 points.  I like Air Force at home getting a point from Utah State. I also like the Southern Miss on the road giving 7 points to Rice. I like Clemson on the road giving 27 points to Syracuse. I like the SMU/Navy to go OVER 61.  And finally I like the Georgia Southern/Troy game to go OVER 56 1/2.
