Here we are in the playoffs and we made it thru the whole season with only a few hiccups. Congrats to all the playoff teams. Thanks again for coming to site for my picks this year. Just a stat that should you should keep in mind, in the past 3 years during wildcard weekend the away team is a staggering 11-1 ATS. Below are my picks for the Saturday games, I will post my Sunday picks later.

My first pick is the Buffalo Bills at home giving the Indianapolis Colts 6 1/2 points and the total is 51 1/2The Bills are actually going to have some fans in the stadium today which should keep the Bills energized. The Colts are a dome team with a qb that played in San Diego. I do believe that the Bills will cover this number and the total is doable.  I like the Bills and over.

My next pick is the Seattle Seahawks at home giving the Los Angeles Rams 3 points and the total is 42. I am not very high on this game as it could be one of those away teams covering this spread. However, Seattle seems to up their level of play during the playoffs. The total is very low for a playoff game but is it a trap? My pick here is Seattle but it is not a high pick and I hate to bet under but this could be the most boring game of the 3 today. So with great trepidation I am taking the Seahawks and under.

My last pick is the Tampa Bay Bucs on the road giving Washington 8 points and the total is 44 1/2.  I am finding it hard to go against Brady but Washington has been a very good defensive team but again how much of the game will Alex Smith really play facing the pass rush of the Bucs. If this line was 6 1/2 I would be on the Bucs but I think I like the 8 points here with Washington. I really am having a hard time deciding if this game will go over so here I am again thinking this game will go under. So my last pick for Satuday is Washington and under but once again holding my nose making this pick. FYI - If Brady and Gronk hook up for a td I believe they will have the record for a qb/wr record for touchdowns in the playoffs.

I will be back later with my picks for Sunday.

And as always  - Remember to bet with your head and not over it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! Well I can't believe we got thru the season and now we are in our last week before the playoffs, this is a sad time of the year for me as I live and breathe football. Well enough of that, below are my picks for the last week of the season. I can only hope after my picks I don't get any surprises. Thanks for reading my posts.

My first pick is the Buffalo Bills at home giving the Miami Dolphins 1 1/2 pointsThe Dolphins will be playing without Fitzpatrick and that is a big loss for them. I think the Bills want to keep the momentum going and will play to win this game. Even if Allen doesn't play Barkley is not a bad backup. I like the Bills.

My next pick is the Baltimore Ravens on the road giving the Cincinnati Bengals 13 points.  I have been watching the Ravens and they are playing over the top football right now. I know the Bengals have been playing well the past couple of weeks but the Ravens need this to get in and they get in going away.

My next pick is the Tennessee Titans on the road giving the Houston Texans 7 points. The Titans need a win to make the playoffs and after the humilation last week against the Packers I see them winning this game by at least 14 points. I like the Titans here.

My last pick is the Minnesota Vikings on the road giving the Detroit Lions 4 points.  I am pretty sure that Stafford isn't playing which means the Lions are not going to score much so I think the Vikes will do just enough to cover this spread.

Some other games on my radar are the Cowboys spotting the Giants 1 1/2 points and the Atlanta Falcons getting 6 1/2 from the Bucs.

I will be back next week with my picks of the first playoff games.

And as always  - Remember to bet with your head and not over it.

So far in week 16 I had wins on the New Orleans and Tampa Bay games going over, but the Cards game did not go over.   Below are the rest of my picks for week 16.

My next pick is the Chicago Bears on the road giving the Jacksonville Jaguars 7 pointsThe Bears are still in the playoff hunt and the Jags are in the hunt for a first round draft pick. I have seen a resurgance in the Bears the past couple weeks and I think they will win this game easily by at least 2 tds. I also am leaning towards the over in this game which is currently at 47.

My next pick is the Baltimore Ravens at home giving the New York Giants 9 points.  If  you have been watching the Ravens the past couple of weeks you know that they are on a 3 game winning streak and as a Giants fan I just don't see how the Giants keep this game close. Give me the Ravens to win this game easily.

My next pick is the Philadelphia Eagles/Dallas Cowboys game going over 49.  I like the fact that Jalen Hurts has put a spark in the Eagles offense and as for the Cowboys Andy Dalton has done the same for the Boys. I think this game has a very good chance of going ove the total.

My last pick is the Buffalo Bills on the road giving the New England Patriots 7 points.  I am very impressed with the Bills and I just don't see how they don't win this game by at least 14 points or more. The Patriots have lost their last 2 games while the Bills are on a 4 game winning streak. These 2 teams are definitely going in opposite directions. Give me the Bills to continue their win streak.

Some other games on my radar are the Browns spotting the Jets 7 points. Also the Texans giving the Bengals 7 points.

I will be back Monday night with more bowl picks.

Week 16 and with games today and Saturday I've decided to give a few picks on the Friday and Saturday games. Once again I see no weather problems especially for the Friday and Saturday games as they are all being played inside. So below are my picks for Friday and Saturday.

My first pick is the Minnesota Vikings/New Orleans Saints game going over 50 on Friday.  Both these teams have something to play for but the Vikes need a lot of help and the Saints want a bye the first week of playoffs. Both these qbs have thrown for a combined 5 tds last weeks and I can see that number going up this week. Give me the over in this game. If the  lines stays below a td I also lean towards the Saints.

My next pick is the Tampa Bay Bucs/Detroit Lions game going over 53 on Saturday.   If there is one thing I can say about the Lions they play hard every game and will give the Bucs a good game. I like this game to go over the total. I also am leaning towards taking the 9 1/2 points with Detroit to keep it close.

My last pick until Sunday is the San Francisco 49ers/Arizona Cardinals game going over 48.  I like the fact that the George Kittles is coming back for the 49ers which should increase their team total. I don't see the 49ers doing much more than slowing down the Cardinals but this game should go over the total into the mid 50s.

I will be back Saturday night with the rest of my picks in the NFL.

And as always  - Remember to bet with your head and not over it.

Week 15 and there is only 3 more games left in the regular NFL season, football goes way too fast. I checked the weather and all games are rain free with very little wind. So below are my picks for this week.

My first pick is the Baltimore Ravens at home giving 13 points to the Jacksonville Jaguars. I know the Jags have done well covering this year but they lost by 21 last week to the Titans and I can see the same fate for them this week. I like the Ravens here as they have a lot to play for.

My next pick is the Indianapolis Colts at home giving 7 points to the Houston Texans.  I don't think there is one team more under the radar this year than the Colts. They have 3 games left to catch the Titans and I don't think the Texans are going to stand in their way. I like the Colts here.

My next pick is the Tennessee Titans at home giving 10 points to the Detroit Lions. The Titans are in a battle with the Colts and when this line jumped I figured it was because Stafford isn't playing. The Titans will win this game by at least 2 tds I think even with Stafford. I like the Titans and Derrick Henry here.

My last pick is the Philadelphia Eagles/Arizona Cardinals game going over 49.  I like the fact that the Eagles went with Jalen Hurts and that will make this game interesting with both him and Murray putting enough points on the board to lift this game over the total.

Also on my radar are the Los Angeles Rams at home to cover the 17 points against the New York Jets. I like the Buffalo Bills on the road giving 4 points to the Denver Broncos on Saturday. I think the Carolina/Green Bay game will go over 51 also on Saturday. And finally I think the Steelers on the road will wake up and cover the 12 points against the Bengals on Monday.

I will be back next week with my picks on some college bowl games.
