Well I come into the weekend with a regular play loss on the over in the Saints/Falcons game on Thursday night. If it wasn't for those picks in the end zone I feel that the game could have gone over but it is what it is. I still hope to keep both my best bets and regular plays in the black.  So here are my picks for this rest of this week  in the NFL.

BEST BETS

My FIRST BEST BET is on the WASHINGTON REDSKINS/LOS ANGELES CHARGERS game going OVER 46. I have been on the over in the Skins game for awhile as they have gone over 8 of the 12 games they have played this year. They have gone over the total 3 out of the last 4 weeks and if they score like they have been then that will force the Chargers and Rivers to keep up. With the total under 7 tds I like the over here and I am making them my FIRST BEST BET.

My NEXT BEST BET is on the MINNESOTA VIKINGS on the road giving 2 points to the Carolina Panthers. The Vikings are still the better and more consistent team in this contest. However, I am going against all rules of betting on this game, as the Vikings are on their 3rd straight road game and the Panthers are coming home after a 2 game road trip. So going against these rules should tell you how much I like the Vikings in this game and I am making them my NEXT BEST BET.

My NEXT BEST BET is on the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS/MIAMI DOLPHINS game on Monday night to go OVER 47. The last 3 times these 2 have played the game has gone over and 5 out of the last 7. So with the total under 7 tds and Brady as one of my quarterbacks, I will take the over anytime. I am making the over my NEXT BEST BET.

My LAST BEST BET once again is on the NEW YORK JETS on the road in a pickem game against the Denver Broncos. How sad the Broncos haven't won a game since October 1st and the Jets just broke a 2 game losing streak beating the Chiefs last week at home. The Broncos qbs Kelly and Paxson are out which leaves them stuck with Siemian and Osweiler and I don't know about you but that doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling to back them. The Jets play hard every game and it seems no matter how far they get behind they manage to beat the spread as they are 7-4-1 ATS this year. So until the Broncos show me they can win a game I will back the other team so this week I will make the Jets my LAST BEST BET.

REGULAR PLAYS

As for regular plays I already had a loss with Saints/Falcons game not going over the total Thursday night. I like the Chicago Bears on the road getting 6 1/2 points from the Cincinnati Bengals. I like the Seattle Seahawks on the road getting 3 points from the Jacksonville Jaguars. I likes the Oakland Raiders/Kansas City Chiefs game to go over 47. Finally I like the Arizona Cardinals at home getting 3 points from the Tennessee Titans.

Well that's it for the this week in the NFL. The college season is over and CONGRATS to the Army as they beat the Navy again this year they are now on a 2 game winning streak, I am sure my dad is ecstatic. I will be back next week to start making my college bowl picks as well as the NFL.
