Week 2 in the NFL and I managed to be in the black with my best bets, my regular plays were another story, but it was only week 1. So there are some games on this card that I like and some I like a lot. So here are my picks for week 2 in the NFL.
BEST BETS
My FIRST BEST BET is on the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS at home giving 13 1/2 points to the San Francisco 49ers. The Seahawks lost last week because they could not put the ball in the endzone. I do not see that problem this week as they are home and they are playing the 49ers who have a 1-5-1 ATS record the past 6 games in Seattle. The 49ers also could not put the ball in the endzone last week and they will have even more problems doing it this week against a much better defense than they faced last week. I like this game enough to lay the points and make the Seahawks my FIRST BEST BET.
My NEXT BEST BET is on the OAKLAND RAIDERS at home giving 13 1/2 points to the New York Jets. There's only one thing to know about this game Oakland is good and the Jets are bad. This to me is a no-brainer game. Now with that being said nothing does surprise me in the NFL, BUT Oakland should win this game going away. I like the da'Raiders and I am making them my NEXT BEST BET.
My NEXT BEST BET is on the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS/NEW ORLEANS SAINTS game to go OVER 55. After watching both games last week I noticed neither team and I mean neither team played defense really well so with an over/under of 55 and Brady and Brees on the field, it just feels like a shootout to me. Furthermore the game is being played in a dome with no weather problems to worry about so I am making the OVER my NEXT BEST BET.
My LAST BEST BET is on the KANSAS CITY CHIEFS at home giving 4 1/2 points to the Philadephia Eagles. This is Andy Reid's chance to throw it in Philly's face for firing him. Right now the Chiefs look really good with Kareem Hunt running and catching the ball and Alex Smith looking more like Brady last week than Brady. I think the Chiefs want their home opener to be awesome and beating Philly is just the frosting on the cake. I really like the Chiefs here and I am making them my LAST BEST BET.
REGULAR PLAYS
As for regular plays I like the Green Bay/Atlanta game to go over 53 1/2. I like the Miami Dolphins/Los Angeles Chargers game to go over 45.(Just can't get use to saying Los Angeles Chargers) I like the Tampa Bay Bucs at home giving 7 points to the Chicago Bears.(Smile Deto) I like the Baltimore Ravens at home giving the Cleveland Browns 7 1/2 points. Finally I like the Philadelphia/Kansas City game to go over 47 1/2.
