Bowl season has started and I totally forgot to put out Nevada and Georgia Southern but I do have a pick on tomorrow's game.

 

In the NEW MEXICO BOWL in Frisco Texas, Houston is favored by 10 over Hawaii. I like Houston as I very rarely bet Hawaii off the island and this year they have lost 3 straight on the mainland. I also think the over 60 here is doable the weather looks ideal for football in Frisco.

Well football fans the wait is over and I am coming back for yet another year of football handicapping, I hope this year will be a million times better than last year. 
 
There are some college games this weekend and although it's very early I do like a couple of the games but only as regular plays as best bets will have to wait a few weeks until I get to see a few weeks of games. 
 
 

My first pick regular pick is Illinois at home getting 7 points from Nebraska.  I am big fan of Lovie Smith and what he has done with the Illini and not such a big fan of the Cornhuskers coach Scott Frost. I like Illinois as a regular play tomorrow.

 

My next regular pick is Fresno State at home giving 27 1/2  points to UConn.  Two teams going in absolutely different directions. The Huskies were bad last year and I don't see anything change for them this year.

Week 15 of the college season and there are a lot of games cancelled this week the notable ones are Michigan/Ohio State. Purdue/Indiana, Oklahoma/West Virginia, Cincinnati/Tulsa and Texas/Kansas, but there are more. So I may once again pick games that get cancelled, but for now below are my picks for this week in college football.

 

My first pick is Florida Atlantic on the road giving 8 points to Southern Mississippi on Thursday night.  FAU needs one more win to go bowling while the Golden Eagles have no chance. I like the Owls here to win and cover and get ready to go bowling.

 

My next pick is Fresno State on the road giving 12 points to New Mexico.  This is one of my streak plays as Fresno State has won and covered every game they have played against the Lobos and I see no reason why that streak won't continue. Give me the Bulldogs.

 

My next pick is Illinois on the road getting 14 points from Northwestern.  Only 1 game that the Wildcats have played have they won by more than 14 points, I will take my chances here with the Ilini to keep this game close.

 

My next pick is the Pittsburgh/Georgia Tech game going over 52 on Thursday.  Both these teams tend to go over this year as they are a combined 14-5 over. I think they will do it again give me the over.

 

My last pick is Colorado State at home giving 13 points to Utah State. Both these teams really have nothing to play for but pride but something tells me that the Rams playing their last game at home this year have much more motivation here.

 

Some of the other games on my radar were Boise State on the road giving Wyoming 11 points. TCU at home covering the 3 tds against Louisiana Tech. Buffalo at home to blow away Akron.  I like the over 54 in the Georgia/Missouri game. And finally my big underdog this week is Virginia on the road getting 3 points from Virginia Tech.

So it's now December and week 14 of the college season is here. So far the games that have been cancelled are Boise State on Friday night, on Saturday - UTEP, Northwestern, Kent State and Michigan. There are also 2 games on Sunday WKU and USC. It is what it is unfortunately, so below are my picks for this week in college football.

 

My first pick is SMU at home getting 2 points from Houston.  SMU is coming home after a 3 game disastrous road trip which ended in a loss to ECU(awful). They have got to be angry and I think they take it out on the Cougars. I like the Mustangs here. Unfortunately this game got cancelled after I wrote this.

 

So my next first pick is Ball State on the road getting 2 points from Central Michigan.  CMU is down to their 3rd string qb for this game, while Ball State is coming in off an upset win over Toledo. Also the last 2 games have been decided by 1 point so I like my chances here. Give me the Cardinals.

 

My next pick is the Kansas/Texas Tech game going over 62. Texas Tech will score the bulk of the points and Kansas will chip in with a few points of their own. I will always take the over in Kansas games. lol 

 

My next pick is the Georgia Tech/North Carolina State game going over 59. These teams have gone over the total the past 5 times they have met. Also this year they are a combined 13-5 over the total. Like the over here.

 

My next pick is Ohio State on the road giving Michigan State 24 points. I love the Buckeyes here as they have got to keep making a statement with only 1 game left after Saturday, if they want to stay in the top 4. They will be focused after a close game last week against Indiana. Give me the Buckeyes.

 

My last pick is Arkansas State at home giving 20 1/2 points to ULM. This one was easy as the Red Wolves have won and covered every meeting they have had, this is streak that I would not buck.

 

 

Some of the other games on my radar were Wyoming on the road giving 17 points to New Mexico. Clemson on the road giving Virginia Tech 21 points. I like the over 56 in the Northern Illinois/Toledo game. I think Buffalo will cover the 11 against Ohio U. My big underdog this week is Indiana on the road getting 14 points from Wisconsin.

First of all Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you had a great turkey day. Here we are in week 13 and 8 more games have been cancelled or postponed as of this post.  So below are my picks for this week in college.

 

My first pick is Iowa at home giving 13 points to Nebraska on Friday.  I don't know what is wrong with the Cornhuskers this year but I do know Iowa is much better, right now. Like the Hawkeyes here.

 

My next pick is Oregon/Oregon State game going over 64, on Friday. I think both these teams will score in the mid-30s so I like the over.

 

My next pick is the North Carolina/Notre Dame game going over 68, on Friday.  I just have this feeling that both these teams will be in the high 30s. Likt the over here.

 

My next pick is Coastal Carolina on the road giving Texas State 17 points. I love Coastal Carolina and after beating App State this should be a walk in the park. Give me the Chanticleers.

 

My last pick is Boston College at home giving a point to Louisville. This is my streak play as BC has won and covered the last three I see no reason to buck this streak.

 

Some of the other games on my radar were Indiana at home giving 12 points to Maryland. Ohio State on the road giving Illinois 28 points. I like the over 65 in the Northern Illinois/Western Michigan game. I think Alabama will cover the 24 against Auburn. My big underdog this week is Pittsburgh on the road getting 23 points from Clemson.
