Well it sure was nice starting off 3-0 ATS with my best bets, you just can't do any better than that. So my first question after week 1 is, will Eastern Washington and McNeese State be FBS teams next year. LOL Anyway without further delay here are my college picks for Week 2.

My first best bet this week is the same as last week, OKLAHOMA STATE on the road giving Texas San-Antonio 26 points. First of all I had to look up what UTSA's team name was, and for those of you who don't know it is the Roadrunners. I got to watch the Okie State game last week against Mississippi State and I thought their defense was much better than their offense. However, this week with a game under their belts the Cowboys offense will easily double their points against a overmatched UTSA team. This game looks like a blowout to me so I'm laying the points and taking the Cowboys as a BEST BET.

My next best bet is OKLAHOMA at home giving West Virginia 20 1/2 points. I didn't see the WVU game as they were playing William & Mary and barely beat them, while Oklahoma shutout ULM. The Mountaineers only lost by a point last year to the Sooners but that's when they had Geno Smith. This is West Virginia's opening road game and with a new QB in a hostile environment I just don't see them in this game. Okie covers the points and wins this game going away, the Sooners are a BEST BET.

My last best bet is BALL STATE at home giving Army 7 1/2 points. Both teams played FCS teams last week but Ball State scored 51 points while Army could only manage to score 28. Army is not a good road team going 0-4 ATS their last 4 games away. Ball State can score and Army doesn't have a passing attack to catch up. This to me adds up to be a very comfortable win for home team. Ball State to win and cover the spread as my last BEST BET

As for games I feel are worth calling regular plays, I like Penn State at home giving Eastern Michigan 24 points. Ohio State at home giving San Diego State 271/2 points, and finally North Carolina at home giving Middle Tennessee State 17 1/2 points.

There are a few underdogs I think not only have a chance of covering but winning outright. They are Air Force at home getting 9 1/2 points from Utah State, South Carolina on the road getting 3 1/2 points from Georgia and finally Memphis at home getting 4 points from Duke.

The over/unders picks in college football this week are Cincinnati at Illinois over 54 1/2, San Diego State at Ohio State over 56, and last but not least I like Hawaii at Oregon State over the 55 1/2.

I will be back Saturday night with my first pro picks of the season.

As always, remember to bet with your head and not over it.
